Merry Christmas!

We had a lovely Christmas celebration this afternoon. I had to teach class this morning, so we decided to hold off on the festivities until later in the day. Well, it was well worth the wait! After lunch we visited the ladies at the office and passed out our Christmas presents (framed pictures of Seth). Seth also received a new Christmas sweater from my boss and a tin of cookies from another lady at the office. Then we came home and took a nice, long nap. After I woke up I finished wrapping a few gifts before we read the nativity story and opened presents.

We had presents to open from each other and from Seth's Grandmas and Grandpas. Seth did a great job unwrapping his presents and persevered until the very end when he was finally too distracted by all his new toys to open his last present. Here's a list of what Seth got for Christmas: three long-sleeve tops, three packs of socks, five matchbox cars, a toy train, a pull ducky with a shape sorter that sets on its back, a doggie xylophone, five movies, a set of blocks, a CD case, a wood abacus, a magnet phonics toy, and a little toy turtle on wheels. Do you think he got enough? The truth is, Benajmin and I have been getting awfully bored with Seth's old toys, so I guess we wanted some new ones to play with too!

Merry Christmas, everyone!
