We have also been cat-sitting for a friend who is in the States during the holiday, and we have used her adult-size kitchen to cook a few real meals. I made lasagna for Benjamin's birthday and even baked a birthday cake. I've also made chicken enchiladas, and I plan to make a tuna noodle casserole later in the week. We have to take a forty-five minute bus ride to get to the one grocery store with a decent supply of imported goods, and the prices are pretty steep, but it is worth it as they have impossible-to-find items such as tortillas, taco seasoning, cheese, spaghetti sauce, and...tampons.
