Our last sightseeing adventure before school started up again was a trip to the Beijing Zoo, which of course is famous for its giant pandas. Unfortunately, we picked a bad day to go--the days before and after were actually on the warm side--and spent most of the morning shivering in the (much-needed) rain. We saw a few fun animals, but most of them seemed to be in hiding. We'll have to go back when the weather warms up for real! More importantly, we got to spend some time with Seth's new Ayi, Ms. Luo. Seth seems to like his Ayi just fine as long as Mommy and Daddy are around, but when we head out the door in the morning, there are some major waterworks. We are sure he will learn to love her quickly, though.
