Big Boy Bed

We gave away Seth's crib last weekend, which was long overdue. Seth hadn't been sleeping in it since the spring. Over the summer we didn't have a crib for him--just a playpen--and Seth was pretty adamant about not sleeping in it. We gave in, and he got used to sleeping with us again. When we moved to our new place, we started a new sleeping schedule. Seth has to fall asleep in his own bed, but when he wakes up in the middle of the night (usually around two or three o'clock, but sometimes not until five or six), he can come to our bed to snuggle. I'm very happy with the arrangement since I get the best of both worlds: alone time with my husband but plenty of time to cuddle with my little one.
