Out and About

This evening Benjamin had his midterm exam, so Seth and I decided to go out exploring before treating ourselves to dinner at KFC. We wandered around campus for a while, admiring the spring flowers and green leaves. We took lots of pictures in one particular part of campus where there is a large stone structure with some Chinese engravings. The two large characters on the front are siyuan, which I think is an allusion to a Chinese idiom meaning "never forget where your happiness comes from." (Presumably, one's happiness comes from one's university experience, since this monument was a gift from CAU alumni.) Seth just liked tracing the characters with his fingers and playing hide and seek around the base.
