Idiosyncrasies

Seth has recently been insisting on having all the blankets and pillows from the bed in the crib with him when he goes to sleep at night. That's two thick duvets, two pillows, and one blanket. This is the little boy, mind you, who refused to sleep with so much as a sheet over him during the dead of winter. It's a good thing we have air conditioning in the bedroom if no where else. It would actually be on the cute side except for the fact that all the covers keep him from rolling over in his sleep, which consequently keeps him from sleeping well--not to mention the fact that when we come to bed we would like to have pillows to sleep on too, and by that time he is invariably lying right on top of them. We've started hiding the duvets in the living room just before his bedtime, but he's wising up to us.
